Colin Leister died 20 April 2000 aged 69, originally of Burley.
Husband of the late Jean Leister, father of Colin and Joan, Grandad of Donna, Leanne & April.
Grandad you deteriorated quickly after your diagnosis of cancer and left us suddenly. You tried to fight on to see April's Birthday and ironically died on her birthday, she was your 'Bonny' and the only one out of all of us that could wrap you around her little finger, although i did a pretty good job of it myself when i was younger.
You are greatly missed by us all. it was with regret that you didnt get to see Donna to make it up with her before you died but ironically again she was due to see you the day you died, but you knew she was going to visit you and it made you very happy.
Grandma didnt settle without you, but now you are back together so you can both be happy and at peace.
We all love you and miss you.
P.s your great grandaughters are alot like you and grandma, they have alot of your ways, you would love them to bits if you could see them.

Happy 80th for 2nd April Grandad, I hope you and grandma had a lovely time together. I cant beleive it was 11 years since we lost you on 20th April.
